Hi all Thanks for the nice and warm welcome here. And thanks for making an International Sinatra Room, so I can speak in english (no no Bernie, you won't want me to speak in German !!). I was so surpriced today when I recieved a wonderful Sinatra concert from September 16th 1978, recorded in Royal Festival Hall, London. I have never heard of that concert before. The programme is very rare including What God Looks Like, I Hadn't Anyone Till You, Oldest Established and then a song called Remember. Have never heard of that Remember-thing before. Sinatra introduce the song as a song from the upcoming album (means the Trilogy one) but he never recorded it, did he? It's a beautiful song - indeed. What a surprice - it saved my day - my week - my month. A new song from Sinatra.......not a very common experience these days. I knew about the September 13th concert - but this September 16th concert really kicks. Also Baubles, Bangles and Beads appears on this concert in the most jazzy version I've ever heard. I know both Falcone and Bill Miller were on these England-concerts, but it must be Falcone who plays the piano duing this Baubles swingin' thing. Isn't it? I just had to share this concert experience with you. Take care Christian Winther, from up north.

Elton John along with his co-writer Ben Taupin wrote "Remember" especially for Sinatra in 1978, and Frank recorded it for Reprise on July 17, 1978. The three studio recordings from that date (FS also recorded "That's What God Looks Like" and "You And Me" on that date, both of which he would re-do in 1979 as released on "Trilogy") have never been issued so far. Long announced to be "lost", last year Nancy Sinatra said that all three recordings exist in the Sinatra Family's archive. No news about a planned release have been issued since then. It is a fabulous song indeed. Sinatra kept singing it in concert for several months, from May 1978 to April 1979.
Sinatra introduced the Jazz arrangement of "Baubles Bangles And Beads" in early 1978 during his concerts, including the 5-5-78 show at Las Vegas (Caesars Palace) that was recorded by CBS. You are correct in observing that Vincent Falcone jr. was playing the piano, with Bill Miller conducting, at the London concerts of 1978. Falcone started to appear as Sinatra's concert pianist in October 1977, but didn't take over full conductor responsibilities of the FS shows until October 1978.

PS: Sinatra gave two concerts in London on Sept. 16, 1978. The programme you list is the one of the second concert of that night.(There is no release of this concert.)
FRANCIS ALBERT SINATRA 12.12.1915 - 14.5.1998 THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU
if you like, you could also tell us a bit about the "music scene" in Denmark and Copenhagen? Any bands/Jazz events we should know of? How big is the present "Danish Sinatra community"?
Best, Bernhard.
